Reports: Share Report with User Visibility

Purpose: This article will explain how to apply user visibility of data when sharing a report or dashboard.

Use Case: You have a team of folks who should only have access to their specific data and you want to share the same report or dashboard. For example, opportunities, commissions, companies, etc.

Follow the below steps to apply parent table filter criteria. 

1. Open the view you want to share.
2. Click Apply Permissions & Filters link.
3. Open the Filter Criteria tab. 
4. Select the Apply Parent Table Filter Criteria checkbox. Now the parent table filter criteria will be applied to the reports and dashboards. 

Use a formula that will leverage the system login variable and the data user email (see screenshot below)
