Improvements to User Interface and Emails
Streamlined Activity Tracking - The activities tab now only shows an email one time, no matter how many recipients the email was sent to. You can click ‘Multiple Contacts’ to view the full list of contacts an email was sent to and can click on any of those contacts to open their records.
Schedule Emails - Users can now schedule emails to go out at a specified date and time. To view any scheduled emails, navigate to the Activities page, and from the ‘All Activities’ dropdown, select ‘Scheduled.’
New and Improved Date Picker
The date picker has been updated to be more user-friendly and easy to read. Now users can either choose from a calendar or type a date in the format “MM/DD/YYYY.”
Integrate Spiro with RingCentral and Microsoft 365
Native RingCentral Integration
If your company uses RingCentral, you can now connect your account with Spiro for free to benefit from a number of features. Admins can set this up in Settings > Integrations. Key features of this integration include:
Contact syncing - Automatically import contacts from RingCentral.Call transcriptions - With call recording enabled in RingCentral, Spiro can generate call transcriptions.Call summaries - Spiro’s AI can generate short summaries of the important points of each call.Text messages - Message threads sent in RingCentral will appear in Spiro’s activity history.Voicemails - Voicemails will sync to Spiro along with call summaries.
Having this call data in Spiro allows users to take advantage of Spiro’s ability to generate tailored call recap emails at the click of a button, as well as provide more comprehensive manager and executive summaries for accounts.
Connect Spiro to Microsoft 365
Admins can now connect all users in an instance of Spiro to Microsoft 365. This will prevent users from needing to reconnect their email or calendar from time to time. Once an admin connects to Microsoft 365 at the org level, users will remain synced.
When new users are added to Spiro, they will be able to log in to Spiro for the first time and see their data right away.
Individual users can opt out of email syncing if they need to.
Admin Updates
External ID Available in Assistant Rules - You can now use the External ID field in the criteria for Assistant Rules, so if you’re having a hard time getting your team to fill in a record’s External ID, you can now create an alert to remind them!
Sales Orders are Now Available in Entity Business Rules - If you’re using our standard Sales Orders table, you can now restrict visibility and editability in Entity Business Rules.
Call Summaries in Analytics - If you’re using our RingCentral integration or Spiro VoIP, Spiro’s AI-generated call summaries are now available in Analytics so you can see them in reports and dashboards.
Additional Improvements
‘Last Campaign Sent’ Date Added to Campaigns - There is now a date field that displays the last time an email was sent to the group.
Scroll Buttons on the Opportunity Pipeline View - Non-Mac users will be happy to know that navigating the Opportunity Pipeline view is now easier with added scroll buttons.
Group Missed Calls - If you’re using Spiro VoIP and are part of a call group, you can now see missed calls to the group on your phone app, not just your own missed calls.
Reply on Collaboration Notes - If you’re tagged in a Collaboration Note, you can now reply to it which will automatically tag and notify the person who tagged you.
Exclude “No Activity” from Followed Resources - If you’re following records and getting a weekly summary email, you can now exclude records that didn’t have any activity over the previous week.
