Spiro Release [June 2024]

No More Refreshing to See Field Updates

The major update in this release significantly improves the user experience for those with custom integrations and quoting processes.

  1. Live Field Refresh: Fields updated through custom integrations or quoting processes will now refresh automatically. Users no longer need to manually refresh the page to see updated information.
  2. Loading State Animation: We can assign animations to fields and values that are being updated via integrations. This visual cue will indicate to users that a process is ongoing and a value is about to change. The updates happen automatically without requiring a page refresh.

The loading state and automatic refresh also apply to fields updated from any Assistant Rule Actions your organization has enabled.

For example, if you have a custom quoting process running in Spiro, a Customer Success Manager (CSM) can help identify which custom fields should have the loading animation. Once the quote generation is triggered, fields like “Link to Quote” and other integration-calculated fields will start to load and then update automatically.

Do Admins Need to Take Action?

  • Automatic refresh will be enabled by default. You do not need to take any action for this part.
  • For more complex quoting processes that take 30 seconds or more, assigning the loading state to specific fields will require assistance from your CSM. Please reach out to support@spiro.ai or your CSM for help with this.

Executive Summary View

For those of you who use our “ Following” feature to receive Spiro’s executive summaries on the records you care about, you can now view those summaries within Spiro and not just in the weekly email.

For both the Companies view and the Opportunities list, you can now select “Summary View,” which will show you account summaries for all the records you’re currently following.

Spiro Notetaker Updates

  • Link Sharing: You can now share recordings of Video Meetings in Spiro externally with non-users.
  • New Connection: Spiro now supports synced meetings with Google Meet locations, in addition to Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

Please contact your CSM or email support@spiro.ai if you are interested in adding the Spiro Notetaker for your organization.

Collaboration Notes Updates

  • Auto “Reply”: When you reply to an email for a Collaboration Note that you were tagged in, your reply will automatically @mention the user who previously mentioned you.
  • Attachments Included: When you reply to an email for a Collaboration Note that you were tagged in, if you include an attachment in your email response it will automatically be added to Spiro in your reply.
  • Default to “All Notes”: On the Company record level, we now default to show all company notes + notes on related records like contacts and lists. If you only want to see notes added to the company record, you can use the new toggle.

What Else is New?

  • Long URLs in URL fields are now shortened to take up less space on your screen.
  • The feature on Opportunities called Email Keywords is now called Opportunity Keywords and will use your predefined keywords to filter all activities and transcriptions, in addition to email content.
  • For our Canadian customers, admins can now default the email unsubscribe link to always be on. When turned on, all campaign emails will include the required opt-out link at the end of the email.
  • On the mobile Phone App, you can now set an auto-reply for incoming texts.
