Spiro Quoting Module - Table Descriptions
When quoting in the Quoting Module, it's important to familiarize yourself with the different tables involved.
Products Table
This is your master product list—the complete catalog of everything your company has ever sold (or will sell). You can deactivate products you no longer offer, but still retain the full history.
Your products list can be managed by anyone on your team in Settings - Products.
Pricelists & Pricelist Products
Custom price lists tailored to specific customers, seasons, or deals. Each customer starts with a default pricelist that mirrors your Products table. From there, you can customize pricing as needed.
Pricelist Products are snapshots in time of the Products table. If you make changes to the details of a SKU, you'll have to also update it on the Pricelist via an integration or manual update.
- Store & manage pricelists directly in Spiro or sync them from your ERP
- Set list prices and default discounts (and still change them later)
Example: One customer has a Walmart pricelist with 20% off all products—set it once and let Spiro do the work
Your products list can be managed by anyone on your team in Settings - Products - Pricelists
Quote Products
Once a quote is created, the items added from a Pricelist become Quote Products. This allows for:
- Custom fields
- Customer-specific calculations
- Tailored configurations per quote
For example, a packaging company might need to calculate item costs based on quote-specific selections. Now, they can do that directly on the Quote Product level.
