Scan Business Cards with AI

Adding new contacts just got a whole lot smarter.

Our brand-new business card scanner in the Spiro mobile app works like magic—it even reads your handwritten notes about a contact and creates them in Spiro.

Open the iOS or Android app, select the AI menu, and tap Scan Business Card. Boom. Spiro takes care of the rest.

New Table Structure for Quotes: Products, Pricelists & Quote Products

We’ve introduced a new, more structured way to manage product data in quotes. Previously, there was a single Products table that handled everything. Now, we’ve introduced a smarter setup with three distinct layers:

🧱 Products Table

This is your master product list—the complete catalog of everything your company has ever sold (or will sell). You can deactivate products you no longer offer, but still retain the full history.

🧾 Pricelists & Pricelist Products

Introducing Pricelists—custom price lists tailored to specific customers, seasons, or deals. Each customer starts with a default pricelist that mirrors your Products table. From there, you can customize pricing as needed.

  • Store & manage pricelists directly in Spiro or sync them from your ERP
  • Set list prices and default discounts (and still change them later)

Example: One customer has a Walmart pricelist with 20% off all products—set it once and let Spiro do the work

💬 Quote Products

Once a quote is created, the items added from a Pricelist become Quote Products. This allows for:

  • Custom fields
  • Customer-specific calculations
  • Tailored configurations per quote

For example, a packaging company might need to calculate item costs based on quote-specific selections. Now, they can do that directly on the Quote Product level.

💰 Additional Costs Now Supported on Quotes

You can now manage tariffs, freight, credit card fees, and more—directly on the quote.

  • Set up options in Settings
  • All additional costs roll up in the Quote Summary

🆕 Other Updates

  • Views are now available on all product-related tables (Products, Pricelists, Quote Products)
  • You can import and update any of the new tables from Settings
  • Mass actions are supported across all product tables for easier management
