Spiro License Types (Full, Read Only, Email Sync)
Spiro supports multiple license types so teams can match access levels to each user’s role. Most customers use a mix: full users for sellers, read-only for leadership, and email sync for people who don’t need to log in but still generate customer activity.
Spiro is licensed as a subscription SaaS product, priced per user per year. Optional modules (Notetaker, Quotes, Tickets, Phone, etc.) may be licensed separately.
Full License
A Full License is for active sales and customer-facing users.
Full users can log into Spiro and have access to the core platform, including:
- Full CRM access (accounts, contacts, opportunities)
- Ask Spiro (AI Q&A)
- Spiro Assistant
- Analytics
- Campaigns
- Executive Summaries
- Draft with AI
- Creating and editing records
Some advanced products require separate licensing even for full users:
- Routes
- Notetaker
- Tickets
- Spiro Phone
- Quotes
(These are marked with an asterisk in the feature table.)
Read Only License
A Read Only License is designed for users who need visibility but shouldn’t be working inside the CRM day-to-day.
Read-only users can:
- Log into Spiro
- View records and dashboards
- Access Analytics in view-only mode
- See Executive Summaries
- Sync email activity
Read-only users cannot:
- Use Ask Spiro or Spiro Assistant
- Run Campaigns
- Draft with AI
- Create or edit records
This is typically used for executives, managers, or finance teams who want reporting access without changing data.
Email Sync Only License (Email Only)
An Email Sync Only License is for users who should not log into Spiro, but whose customer emails should still be captured.
Email Sync users:
- Do not have Spiro login access
- Do have email capture enabled
- Help improve customer history and relationship visibility without needing a full seat
This license is commonly used when “non-CRM users” still generate valuable customer interactions.
Internally, this is the default answer when a customer asks whether Spiro can capture activity from people who aren’t real users.
Quick Comparison
- Full License: full platform access, AI features, create/edit records
- Read Only: login + reporting visibility, no AI tools, no editing
- Email Sync Only: no login, email capture only
