Spiro Release [April 2026]

This release focuses on making assistant insights more visible inside account records, adding nearby account mapping, and introducing licensing controls for route planning.

Assistant Insights & Nearby Accounts

Company pages now bring assistant insights and geographic context into one place. Instead of digging through tabs or menus, key actions and assistant signals are surfaced directly in the main view.

Why it matters

Sales reps often lose time switching between notes, account details, and trying to figure out what’s nearby or worth acting on. Assistant insights exist, but they’re easy to miss when buried in the interface.

This update reduces that friction by putting both assistant alerts and nearby account context front and center.

How it works

Log activity and add notes directly from the header without opening additional menus.

Assistant rule chips appear at the top of the page and link into a dedicated insights section.

A new “Assistant Insights & Map” section combines alerts with a map of nearby companies.

Map interactions are simplified with hover-based details and a clearer current location indicator.

Nearby Account Mapping

The map experience is backed by a new service that provides consistent location data and nearby account context.

Why it matters

Mapping features tend to break down when location data is incomplete or inconsistent. This creates gaps in visibility and unreliable results.

This update ensures the primary account location is always usable while still surfacing nearby companies when possible.

How it works

Returns the main account’s location and a generated map image.

Includes up to five nearby accounts based on proximity.

Handles missing geolocation data by skipping or approximating nearby accounts when needed.

Route Planning Licensing

Route planning now includes structured licensing controls at both the subscription and user level.

Why it matters

Without clear licensing, route planning access is difficult to manage across teams, especially as usage grows.

This adds a straightforward way to control who can use routing features without relying on ad hoc permissions.

How it works

Set the number of available route licenses at the subscription level.

Enable or disable route access for individual users.

Enforce limits through validation across the system.

Assistant Alert Customization

Assistant rules can now be customized with colors and icons to make alerts easier to identify.

Why it matters

As the number of assistant rules grows, alerts start to look the same, making them harder to scan quickly.

Adding visual differentiation makes it easier to recognize the type and urgency of each alert.

How it works

Assign colors to assistant rules.

Add icons for faster visual recognition.

Apply these changes directly in the rule builder.
