This release introduces two major additions: the new Spiro Routes module and open and click tracking for emails sent through Spiro.
Spiro Routes
Have you ever finished a day in the field and realized you spent more time figuring out where to go next than actually meeting customers?
Or had a meeting cancel and suddenly found yourself parked somewhere with no clear idea which nearby account was worth visiting?
Spiro Routes is built for outside sales teams to plan smarter field visits, build optimized driving routes, and take action while on the road—all using real-time Spiro data (activity, ERP order history, pipeline insights, and assistant-driven priorities).
Why it matters
Outside reps often lose time and momentum by:
- Spending too long deciding which customers are overdue for a visit
- Manually tracking open opportunities or stalled orders
- Falling behind on visits
- Losing productivity when meetings cancel
- Logging notes days later (leading to incomplete records)
Spiro Routes brings live Pipeline, Activity + ERP data directly into the routing workflow, so routing decisions are always based on the most current information.
How it works
- Visualize your accounts on an interactive map with live signals like order history/ERP data, pipeline activity, recent interactions, and assistant priorities.
- Build and optimize a route by selecting accounts, optimizing driving order to reduce drive time, and saving routes for later.
- Act on the road (mobile): open navigation in Google Maps, follow stops in driving order, and log activities immediately (type or dictate notes). If plans change, quickly adjust by finding nearby accounts on the map and updating your route.
What makes Routes different
Unlike standalone routing tools, Spiro Routes is fully native to Spiro and powered by a single, unified system—so ERP, pipeline, activity history, and assistant insights work together in real time. Assistant rules can also dynamically surface priority accounts as your data changes.

Click and Open Tracking
Emails sent through Spiro now support open tracking and link tracking so you can see when recipients engage. Engagement appears on the email record and can trigger notifications so you know when to follow up. For more details, see our Support Article here.
