Settings: My Connections

Overview

Connect your email to Spiro to automatically sync all inbound emails, outbound emails, and calendar events with contacts in Spiro. Spiro will also automatically add new contacts you are emailing that have the same domain as existing contacts.

Connecting your Email Account

The email servers Spiro can be connected with are Google Mail, Office365, Exchange, and IMAP.

To connect your email, click on your name in the upper right corner of Spiro, then click on Settings. In the My Connections section of settings, under the Email Account section, you will see a green button with your email server you can click to connect your email. Once you input your email credentials (and exchange server if connecting with the exchange email client type), your email will display in this section to confirm you are connected.

*To connect with Exchange you will need to know your server name. Check out this article if you need help finding your server name. *Note that if you ever change your email password, you will need to re-connect your email account with Spiro by following these same initial connection instructions. You will be alerted in your assistant tab to reconnect your email.

Also, if you plan on emailing contacts directly out of Spiro, be sure to set the default email client on your computer.

Connecting your Work Calendar

Spiro will automatically connect both your email and to your calendar - this functionality cannot be separated (IE only connecting to one or the other). By connecting your email in the Email Account section, your calendar will also connect.
