Contacts Overview

Contacts in Spiro are the people you are selling to or working with. In order to create a contact in Spiro you must create a new company where the contact works or associate the new contact with an existing company. If you are actively working on an opportunity with a contact, you can associate the new contact with the opportunity.

New Contacts

  1. AI in Email: Users can forward emails to assistant@spiro.ai, instructing the AI to create a new contact as well as other various tasks. Spiro's AI will automatically create the contact that would normally require manual input using the contacts email address, email signature and company domain.
  2. Automated Contact Creation- New contacts that you email or who are on a calendar invite will be added to Spiro automatically if their email domain matches the website of a Company record in Spiro. Admins can enable this under Admin Settings > Company Settings > Contact Match.
  3. Business Card Scanner (Mobile App)- From the mobile app you can quickly add contacts on the go. To access the business card scanner, click the purple AI button on the bottom right of the screen and select "Spiro AI" and then "Scan Business Card."
  4. Create Contacts from Phone Book (Mobile App) - Click the purple AI button on the bottom right of the screen and choose "Phonebook" to add contacts and any saved info right from the contact in your phone.
  5. Manual Contact Creation - Use the "New +" at the top of the contact list view to add a new contact manually. You can also add a new contact directly to a company under the contacts section. Once a contact is added, Spiro provides you with enriched contact and company information and even populates social profiles for you.

Managing Contacts

You can manage contacts from the contacts tab on the left hand side of page. From here you can search for contacts by name, email or phone number. You can also create and manage filters and create new contacts.

Additional options from this view that can be found by clicking "More" are the ability to export contacts, reset your contact view or view record count of all contacts.

From the contact list view, if you click on the contact name you will view the contact drawer with a preview of information such as email address, phone number and more. If you click on the magnifying glass next to the contact name the full contact record will open.
